The idea for A Tale of Two Puppies began simply: everyone loves puppies. Growing up on the farm, we always had dogs. They were loyal companions, mischievous troublemakers, and a constant source of laughter. Our puppies often wandered off, led by every curious scent drifting across the yard. The inspiration behind A Tale of Two Brothers is my two heavenly-bound brothers who were taken from this world far too early. Peter and Louis, who were 5 and 6 years older than me, were incredibly loved by our whole family. They have been gone from us for 50 and 43 years respectively, but they are never forgotten. I wanted to write a children's book that was inspired by their joy of life, their sense of adventure, and the tight bond between two brothers. I hope to write more
